Bookman Volume™ 1500 is a powerful rechargeable bike light for road riding, gravel, bikepacking, and longer rides when you need to see the road ahead. With 1500 lumens, a carefully designed beam pattern, and a robust aluminum housing, it is the most powerful bike light in Bookman’s Volume series.
What really sets Volume apart from many other bike lights is Bookman’s Power Wheel. Instead of clicking through different modes, you turn the dial to raise or lower the brightness in five steps. It is quick, intuitive, and above all easy to use with gloves. You can therefore adjust the light to suit the road and your speed during the ride, while saving battery when full power is not needed.
The replaceable 4000 mAh battery provides up to 3 hours at full power and significantly longer runtime at the lower levels. If you are heading out on a really long ride, you can bring an extra battery, and the light can also be charged via USB-C while you ride. The replaceable battery is also a major advantage once it starts to wear out—you do not need to discard a fully functional light just because the battery has reached the end of its life.
Volume 1500 uses a Garmin-compatible mount and also comes with a GoPro adapter for mounting underneath a compatible bike computer or on other GoPro mounts. The aluminum housing is IPX5-rated and built to withstand life on the bike. For those who mainly need a smaller light to be seen in the city, Volume 800 or Bookman’s Block Light are more convenient alternatives. Choose Volume 1500 when brightness, long runtime, and the ability to replace the battery genuinely matter.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
