Kryptonite Evolution Standard is a sturdy U-lock for those who want a little more space than the compact Mini models provide. The longer shackle, measuring 10.2 × 22.9 cm, makes it easier to secure the lock around lampposts, bike racks, and other fixed objects, while often allowing you to include both the frame and wheel in the same lock-up.
The shackle is 14 mm thick and made of hardened Max-Performance steel. Kryptonite’s Double Deadbolt construction locks the shackle at both ends and provides better resistance to twisting attacks, while the disc-style lock cylinder is designed to resist picking and drilling. Kryptonite rates the Evolution Standard at 7 out of 10 on its own security scale.
A good choice for commuting and urban cycling when you want a robust Kryptonite U-lock but need more locking space than a Mini lock provides. A FlexFrame-U mount is included for carrying the lock on the bike.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
