An Ass Saver is one of those simple bike accessories you don’t think much about until the road is wet. Then you’re pretty glad it’s there. Ass Savers x UBW is our own version of the classic saddle-mounted mudguard—black with a white Urban Bike Wear print and made in Sweden.
The ASO-3 attaches directly to the saddle rails without tools and fits almost all standard bike saddles. When the road is wet, it catches the worst of the spray from the rear wheel before it reaches your back and trousers. It’s not the same as a pair of full-length mudguards, but for a fixed-gear bike, road bike, or other stripped-back bike where you don’t want to fit permanent mudguards, it’s a very convenient solution.
The construction is made from thin polypropylene and weighs just 19 grams. It is shaped along the pre-scored fold lines and secured under the saddle with the Ass Savers attachment. When it’s not needed, it takes up minimal space, which also makes it easy to carry as a backup when the weather looks uncertain.
This version was made together with us and features a black finish with a white UBW print. The same simple idea that has made Ass Savers a modern cycling classic—just a little more Urban Bike Wear.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
