Ass Savers x UBW is our own version of the classic Ass Savers—a simple and highly practical mudguard for your bike when the weather changes. It mounts directly under the saddle without tools and stops the worst spray from the rear wheel. Perfect for commuting, fixed gear, road cycling, and other bikes where you would rather avoid permanent mudguards.
Ass Savers’ patented attachment fits most standard saddles and makes the mudguard quick to put on and take off. It weighs almost nothing and is easy to slip into a bag or jersey pocket, so you can carry it with you and install it when the rain starts.
Ass Savers comes from Gothenburg and has made this type of mudguard a modern cycling classic. Our own UBW version is black with white Urban Bike Wear lettering—the same simple and proven construction, but produced in our own version.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
