Genesis Vagabond 20 – monstercross with unusually much freedom
The Genesis Vagabond 20 is a monstercross in the best sense of the word: a bit of road, a bit of mountain biking, a bit of touring, and quite a lot of “I wonder where that road leads.” It’s a bike for those who find regular categories a bit too narrow sometimes.
Vagabond has always had a bit of a frankenbike DNA. It resembles those well-thought-out parts-bin builds that home mechanics put together long before gravel became its own category: drop bars, big tires, low gears, steel frame, and a clear desire to tackle more terrain than the bike really should.
With the Vagabond 20, that idea is more complete from the start. The SRAM Apex XPLR Eagle 1x12 provides a wide gear range for steep gravel climbs and riding with gear. The large Maxxis Ikon tires offer grip, comfort, and margin when the road gets rougher, while the Mjolnir steel frame and chromoly fork give the confident feel suited for long, steady rides.
This isn’t the fastest bike on asphalt nor a pure long-distance touring bike with a classic touring feel. The Vagabond 20 suits those who want a drop bar bike with more terrain clearance, more tire volume, and more room for spontaneous route choices.
Choose the Genesis Vagabond 20 if you want a bike that does a bit as it pleases, but in a very thoughtful way. A bike for commuting, rough gravel roads, bikepacking, and those rides where the map is mostly a suggestion.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
