The Tubolito S-Tubo Road is an Austrian invention that outperforms butyl inner tubes. This tube is designed for bikes with disc brakes, but for those of us who ride brakeless fixed gear bikes, it works excellently as well. The tube weighs a mere 24 grams (which is absolutely crazy!) and if there’s anywhere you should save weight, it’s on the wheels/rotational weight. You’ll notice a difference in acceleration, and the braking distance is also positively affected. Only good then? Yes, if you’re ready to pay a bit more compared to standard tubes.
