H PLUS SON Archetype is a great 700c rim for fixed gear, single speed, and city riding. A reliable workhorse that has achieved cult status in the cycling community and become a natural choice for many looking to build a lightweight, strong, and stylish wheel.
The 25 mm-high and 23 mm-wide aluminum profile offers a good balance between low weight and stiffness. The rim has a welded seam and a brake track for rim brakes, and weighing 470 grams, the Archetype is equally suited to a fast fixed gear build or a more classic road or city bike.
This is a rim we are always happy to build wheels with in our workshop. If you would like help choosing a hub, spokes, and lacing pattern, we would be happy to put together a complete wheel to suit your build.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
