Dia-Compe Gold Finger is a compact and effective brake lever for fixed gear, single speed, and other clean bike builds. Perfect for fixed-gear cyclists who want a front brake or emergency brake without the brake lever taking over the clean aesthetics of the handlebar.
This is the left-hand version for the front brake with a 31.8 mm clamp. Both the brake lever and clamp are made of forged aluminum, and the hinged clamp makes installation easy without needing to remove other components from the handlebar.
Gold Finger features Dia-Compe's characteristic short, double-bent brake lever and is a great choice when you want to combine a minimalist fixed-gear look with a proper mechanical front brake. The silver finish works particularly well on classic and understated builds.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
