The Surly Track Cog 3/32" is best suited if you have a 3/32 chainring on the crankset and want to avoid noise. If you have converted an older road bike, Surly offers the perfect rear sprocket for a quieter and smoother drivetrain. It is recommended to use with narrow 6 to 9-speed chains.
However, it also works with a wider 1/8" chain.
