Bagaboo Jumbo Small Bike Backpack 19L

Bagaboo Jumbo Small is the smaller version of Bagaboo’s classic bike messenger backpack—compact enough to work well for everyday use, yet with a 19-liter capacity and a rolltop that offers considerably more room than a typical small backpack. For commuting, work, and days on the bike when you want to carry your gear on your back without hauling around a large messenger bag, the size is highly practical.

Jumbo is built according to the same principles as Bagaboo’s larger messenger bags. The outer material is hard-wearing CORDURA® and the inside is lined with truck tarpaulin to keep moisture away from your belongings. The two layers are joined only at the opening, reducing the risk of water getting in through the seams. The bottom also has an extra layer of CORDURA® where the bag is exposed to the most wear.

The rolltop closes with a small flap that can be adjusted when the bag is more or less full. On the outside, there are two pockets and an open compartment where you can quickly stash, for example, a rain jacket or sweater. Inside, there are two mesh pockets for smaller items that might otherwise disappear at the bottom of the bag. The side compression straps help keep the contents in place when you are not using the full capacity.

The back panel and contoured shoulder straps are padded so the bag sits comfortably while cycling, and a removable chest strap provides extra stability. The back also features a reflective detail and a mount for a bike light. Jumbo Small is especially suited to those who want a proper cycling backpack with roots in messenger cycling, but do not need the capacity of the larger 34-liter version.
