Do you have an older steel bike with a threaded 1-inch fork and want to bring the handlebars a little closer? The BLB Lil Quill 60 mm is a simple and affordable solution. Its short length works well on older road, track and city bikes where a long classic stem gives you a more stretched-out position than you want.
The Lil Quill has a traditional design with a 22.2 mm shaft that extends into the steerer tube and is secured with an expander wedge. The stem is made of aluminum, and the black finish works well on both clean fixed-gear builds and older bikes where you want to combine classic standards with a slightly more understated look.
The handlebar clamp diameter is 26.0 mm, but the clamp can also be tightened around handlebars with a 25.4 mm diameter. This makes it useful with many older road, track and city handlebars, where both dimensions are common. Check both the handlebar diameter and that the bike has a threaded 1-inch fork before ordering.
This version is 60 mm long and provides a shorter reach than the Lil Quill 80 mm. Choose 60 mm when you want to bring the handlebars closer and achieve a slightly more upright position, or when the geometry of an older frame simply works better with a shorter stem.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
