BLB Lil Quill Stem Silver 60mm

BLB Lil Quill Stem is one of the more affordable stems for those building or updating an older bike with a threaded 1-inch fork. The short 60 mm length reduces reach compared with a longer stem and is a great fit when you want to bring the handlebars a little closer – for example on an older steel bike, fixed gear, or restomod build.
The stem is made of aluminum and has the classic shape of a quill stem, with an expander wedge that locks the stem inside the steerer tube. The silver finish works especially well with older handlebars and other silver components, where a modern Ahead stem might look out of place.
The handlebar clamp diameter is 26.0 mm, but the clamp can also be tightened around 25.4 mm handlebars. This makes the Lil Quill useful with many older road, track, and city handlebars, where both dimensions are common. The quill itself is 22.2 mm and is intended for a threaded 1-inch fork.
This version is 60 mm long. If you need more reach, the same Lil Quill is also available in an 80 mm length. The choice is simple: 60 mm when you want to bring the handlebars closer, and 80 mm when you want a slightly more stretched-out position.
