BLB Track Cog - Silver

A track sprocket is a small component that affects how the entire bike feels. The BLB Track Sprocket is a classic threaded sprocket for fixed gear, made from Cro-Mo steel with sturdy teeth and a polished silver finish. A good choice when building a new fixed gear, replacing a worn sprocket, or adjusting the gearing without making the drivetrain more complicated than it needs to be.

The sprocket is designed for a 1/8-inch chain and uses the standard BC 1.37" × 24 TPI thread for fixed-gear sprockets. It screws directly onto the hub’s sprocket thread and is secured with a separate lockring. Therefore, check that the hub has the correct thread standard and that you use a 1/8-inch chain together with a chainring designed for the same chain width.

Sizes from 13T to 19T make it easy to change the gearing. A smaller sprocket gives a harder gear, while a larger sprocket gives an easier one. On a fixed gear, a single tooth at the rear can make a noticeable difference, so sprocket size is a simple way to adapt the bike to the terrain, your cadence, and how you actually want it to feel.

The BLB Track Sprocket is not the most premium sprocket in the range, nor is it meant to be. It is a robust Cro-Mo sprocket for a 1/8-inch fixed-gear drivetrain, with a classic silver finish and a wide range of sizes.
