Bookman Block Light Front Black USB-C

Block Light from Stockholm-based Bookman is a compact, rechargeable front light for cycling in the city. With up to 50 lumens, it is designed to make you clearly visible in traffic, while its small size keeps your handlebars clean and uncluttered.

The light has four modes with steady or flashing light at two brightness levels. The highest setting provides 50 lumens, but for most rides the lower setting is sufficient and offers significantly longer battery life. Runtime varies from approximately 1.5 hours on the highest steady setting to up to 25 hours on the lower flashing setting.

The mounting is typically Bookman: the rubber strap wraps around the handlebar and locks directly into the light, with no separate mount or tools required. This makes it easy to remove when leaving your bike or move between different bikes. The battery charges via USB-C in approximately two hours, and an indicator warns when the battery level starts to run low.

Block Light Front is primarily suited to anyone looking for a small, simple USB-C rechargeable bike light for being seen in traffic. If you need a front light that also illuminates dark, unlit roads, a more powerful model is a better choice.
