Brother Cycles Kepler Frames - Green Metallic
Available in stock
Brother Cycles Kepler is the foundation of a really good gravel or road bike. Classic-looking steel tubing is combined with geometry that allows the frame to be built into anything from a fast commuter to a relaxed road bike or a dedicated gravel bike. That versatility is exactly the Kepler’s strength—you don’t have to decide from the start exactly what kind of bike it will be.
The latest version has received several updates that make the frame more versatile without changing the basic concept. The fork is now a lugged steel fork with internal dynamo cable routing and three mounting points on each fork leg. The frame has internal rear brake routing, an integrated seatpost clamp, a third bottle-cage position beneath the downtube, and a metal Brothers Oak Leaf logo on the head tube.
The frame is made from double-butted 4130 chromoly and ED-treated beneath the paint for better protection against corrosion. The Kepler can be built with 700C wheels and tires up to 45 mm wide, or 650B wheels with tires up to 48 mm. With narrower tires, you get a fast bike for asphalt and smooth gravel roads, while more tire volume provides better grip and comfort when the surface becomes rougher.
There are mounts for racks and fenders at the front and rear, three bottle-cage positions on the frame, and extra mounting points on the fork. This makes the Kepler equally at home as a stripped-down gravel bike or a fully equipped commuter or touring bike. Compared with the Brother Mehteh, the Kepler is the more road-oriented choice: less tire clearance and a steel fork, but also a more classic look and a very natural position between road and gravel.
