A large Carradice saddlebag provides plenty of packing space without a traditional rack, but with heavier loads, the bag can start to sway and lose its upright shape. The Carradice Bagman Expedition creates a firm support under the bag, distributes the weight better, and keeps the load more stable when the road gets rough or the trip gets long.
Expedition is the larger Bagman model and is especially suitable for deep saddlebags and longflap models like Camper Longflap, Nelson, Nelson Longflap, Odyssey, and Super C. Compared to the Bagman Sport, it offers more space under the saddle and better support for bags with larger volume. The construction can handle up to 10 kg and weighs 365 grams.
This is the Standard version, which clamps onto the saddle rails and is intended to remain on the bike. The bag is attached with its usual straps to the saddle’s bag loops and is supported from below by the shaped metal frame. Unlike the Bagman Quick Release, this model has no quick release, making it best for those who don’t need to remove the bag multiple times during the day.
The support measures 18 cm in width, 20 cm in height, and 17.5 cm in depth. Therefore, check the space between the saddle and the rear wheel or mudguard before ordering. Bagman should not be used with carbon fiber saddles and is not suitable for sprung saddles like Brooks Flyer or B67.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
