The Chrome Kadet is the compact sling bag for those who want to move freely through the city without carrying more than necessary. With a 9-liter capacity, it holds your everyday essentials – phone, keys, wallet, windbreaker, lock, and a small tablet – while staying securely on your back when you cycle.
The Kadet is the original in Chrome’s Kadet series and is built on the same durable concept as their larger messenger bags, but in a more streamlined format for commuting, travel, and everyday carry. Its slim profile makes the bag easy to live with, whether you’re cycling through the city, hopping on the subway, or just want to avoid filling your pockets.
The bag is made from sturdy 1050D nylon with weather-resistant lining, YKK zippers, and an integrated U-lock holster on the back. The padded shoulder strap and removable stabilizer strap keep the bag in place while you ride, and Chrome’s classic quick-release buckle makes it easy to put on and take off.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
