Cinelli Hobootleg Easy Travel Sword 2x10 - Forever Green
Available in stock (12)
Cinelli Hobootleg Easy Travel is for you if you like the idea of long-distance touring, but do not necessarily want to build a heavy expedition bike. This is the more nimble side of the Hobootleg family: a steel bike for fast touring, bikepacking and longer rides where you want to pack smart, ride comfortably and still feel the bike moving easily forward.
Easy Travel takes the basic idea from the classic Hobootleg – a reliable bike built for many hours and long distances – but makes it a little faster and more direct. The drop handlebar and integrated MicroShift Sword shifters let you change gears without leaving your riding position, while the Sword 2x10 with 48/31T chainrings and an 11–38T cassette provides a useful range for asphalt, gravel roads, climbs and riding with luggage.
The frame is built from double-butted Columbus Cromor steel tubing and paired with a Columbus Cr-Mo fork. The mechanical Tektro disc brakes keep the design simple and easy to service, while the WTB ST i19 TCS 2.0 wheels are tubeless-compatible and supplied with Kenda 700x35c tires. The frame and fork also have clearance for wider tires than the original setup – up to 700x44 without fenders and 700x40 with fenders.
That combination is what makes Easy Travel interesting. It has enough stability and comfort for long days in the saddle, but feels less like a traditional fully loaded touring bike and more like a bike you will want to keep riding even when the bags stay at home. Mounts for fenders and luggage also make it adaptable for everything from everyday riding and weekend trips to longer journeys.
Choose the Cinelli Hobootleg Easy Travel if you want a faster touring and bikepacking bike with Cinelli’s adventure DNA, but without going all the way toward a heavy long-distance touring rig. A bike for those who want to travel light, take detours and let the road determine a little more than the calendar.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
