The Dia-Compe 1245 Roller Guided Cable Bridge is a roller-guided straddle cable hanger, also known as a chidori, for cantilever and centerpull brakes. The integrated pulley provides smooth, responsive cable movement and helps distribute pulling force evenly between the brake arms.
It’s a classic design with clear roots in traditional constructeur bicycles, and suits vintage racers, randonneur, touring, and cyclocross builds where both function and the right look matter.
The body is made of aluminum with a polished silver finish. The cable is adjusted and tensioned with a standard 5 mm hex key.
