The Dia-Compe BRS100 is a black front brake caliper for rim brakes with short reach, designed for road, single speed, and fixed gear builds. It is especially suitable for bikes where you want a simple and discreet front brake.
With a 39–49 mm reach, the BRS100 is made for frames and forks built for short road brakes. If you are unsure which reach you need, the easiest way to measure is from the center of the brake bolt hole in the fork crown down to the middle of the rim’s braking surface. If the measurement falls within 39–49 mm, the brake is within the correct range.
The dual pivot design provides good braking power and a clear feel at the lever, while the quick release function makes it easier to remove and install the front wheel. The brake arms are made of cold-forged aluminum, and the brake comes with Dia-Compe brake pads.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
