Dia-Compe BRS202 is a long-reach rear brake for bicycles where a standard road caliper does not reach the rim’s braking surface. With a 57–75 mm reach, it fits frames with a longer distance between the brake bridge and rim, such as certain touring bikes, commuters, older steel frames, and builds with extra clearance for tires and fenders.
The BRS202 uses a dual-pivot design with cold-forged aluminum arms for stable and consistent braking. The quick-release function makes it easy to open the brake when removing the rear wheel, and Dia-Compe 101 brake pads are included.
The anodized silver finish gives the brake a clean, classic look. Above all, check the brake reach required by your frame before purchasing—the BRS202 is designed for 57–75 mm and is therefore intended for bicycles that need an unusually long caliper.
