Dia-Compe Cable Hanger for Ahead is a cable hanger for cantilever brakes on bikes with a 1 1/8-inch Ahead system. It mounts on the steerer tube beneath the stem and provides a secure attachment point for the front brake cable.
The cable hanger is made of cold-forged aluminum and has a 34 mm cable drop. A 95 mm Dia-Compe Flexie Adjuster Pipe is included, providing a smooth transition for the brake cable and making installation easier.
A practical solution when building or upgrading a bike with cantilever brakes and a threadless headset, where a traditional cable hanger in the headset is missing.
