Dia-Compe ENE Front Road Hub is a lightweight, classic front hub for building wheels with rim brakes. Its highly polished silver finish and understated shape are particularly well suited to touring, randonneur, and road builds where a traditional look is combined with modern sealed bearings.
The hub shell is made of A6061 aluminum and uses sealed cartridge bearings, providing a simple, service-friendly design for bikes intended for frequent use. The hub is designed for standard J-bend spokes and has 32 spoke holes. If you would like help building your wheels, we are here to help.
ENE Front has a 100 mm hub width (O.L.D.), a 9 mm quick-release axle, and weighs just 103 grams. A great choice for anyone building a classic rim-brake wheel and looking for an elegant silver hub without switching to traditional loose ball bearings, which require regular servicing.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
