Dia-Compe ENE Rear Road Hub 135 mm 32H - Silver
Out of stock
The Dia-Compe ENE Rear Road Hub is a classic rear hub for building wheels with rim brakes. The highly polished silver finish and understated shape are particularly well suited to touring, randonneur, and road builds where a traditional look is combined with modern sealed bearings.
The hub shell is made of A6061 aluminum and uses sealed cartridge bearings, providing a simple, service-friendly design for bikes intended for frequent use. The freehub body is made of steel, which resists wear much better than aluminum, and uses the Shimano HG standard for 11-speed road cassettes. When used with an 8-, 9-, or 10-speed cassette, use the included spacer. The hub is designed for standard J-bend spokes and has 32 spoke holes. If you need help building a wheel, we are here to help.
The ENE Rear has a 135 mm hub width (O.L.D) for quick release and weighs 326 grams. A good choice for anyone building a classic rim-brake wheel who needs a 135 mm hub width but wants to combine the traditional look with sealed bearings and a modern Shimano HG freehub body.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
