Diatech (Dia-Compe) CB-2 1-1/8" Threadless Pressfit Headset
Available in stock
Diatech CB-2 is a 1 1/8-inch threadless headset for building a new bike or replacing a worn headset with a reliable solution that requires minimal maintenance.
The press-fit cups are made of 7075 aluminum, and the sealed ACB cartridge bearings help keep dirt and moisture out. The split crown race simplifies installation and also makes it easier to remove or service the headset later on. An aluminum top cover is included.
CB-2 is intended for frames with press-fit headsets and forks with a straight 1 1/8-inch steerer tube. Several headset standards look similar but are not compatible with one another, so check the frame dimensions and standard before ordering.
A good headset should ideally be a component you do not need to think much about after installation. CB-2 is designed precisely for that: sealed bearings, robust aluminum cups, and an uncomplicated construction for smooth, play-free steering.
If you do not have a headset press, we recommend having the installation carried out by a bike shop.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
