This version of the Genesis CDA uses a 1x drivetrain for simpler mechanics and less hassle. The aluminum frame is once again the centerpiece of this versatile build. The CDA is suitable for commuting, everyday cycling, touring, road, and gravel, and is as adaptable as the flagship Croix de Fer, from which it draws inspiration. Just add some bikepacking bags and you’re off, wherever the road takes you!
Since it’s a CDA, there will naturally be no complaints if it’s used as a winter bike, with full-length fenders – or even as a sleek commuter with panniers mounted. The little brother threatens to outshine the original Croix de Fer, when the student becomes the master!
