Genesis Croix de Fer 10 Flat Bar is for those who like the Croix de Fer but prefer a flat handlebar. The riding position is more upright and the control more direct, making it well suited to commuting, gravel roads, winter riding, and everyday trips where the extra hand positions of drop handlebars are not essential.
The chromoly steel frame and fork give the bike the stable, reassuring character that the Croix de Fer is known for. The 45 mm-wide Maxxis Reaver tyres provide grip and comfort on gravel and rougher asphalt, while the bike still rolls well on regular roads.
Shimano CUES 1x9 keeps shifting simple and provides a sufficiently wide range for hilly everyday riding and lighter loads. Hydraulic Shimano disc brakes provide good control in rain, winter weather, and on descents.
Choose the Croix de Fer 10 Flat Bar if you want a practical steel bike that feels natural in traffic and on mixed surfaces. It is less focused on speed and long days on drop handlebars, but better suited to those who want an upright riding position, good control, and the option to take the longer way home.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
