For many, the Genesis Croix de Fer 20 Flat Bar is the ultimate commuter bike. You get the dependable steel frame of the Croix de Fer platform, wide tires and the option to fit mudguards and a rack - but with a flat handlebar that makes the bike more relaxed, easy to control and an obvious choice for everyday use.

The flat-bar setup gives you a good view of traffic and stable control at lower speeds, but this is still a true Croix de Fer. Shimano CUES 1x11 with a 42T chainring and an 11–45T cassette provides a wide gear range, while hydraulic Shimano MT200 disc brakes and 45 mm Maxxis Reaver tires offer reliable stopping power, grip and comfort on asphalt, gravel roads and winter rides.
