Gusset 2-Tugs make it much easier to align the rear wheel and set the chain tension precisely on fixed gear, single speed, and BMX bikes with horizontal dropouts. Instead of pulling the wheel backward by hand and hoping it ends up in the right position, you can make small, controlled adjustments to the axle position on both sides.
The chain tensioners are CNC-machined from aluminum and mount onto a 10 mm rear axle. Three different adjuster bolt lengths are included, allowing you to adapt them to the length of the dropouts and how far back the wheel needs to be positioned. The design is simple and lightweight, and above all makes wheel installation and adjustment significantly less frustrating.
2-Tugs are sold as a pair and are a good choice for bikes where chain tension is adjusted by moving the rear wheel in the dropouts.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
