MKS Sylvan Gordito is a larger version of the classic Sylvan Touring, developed together with Crust Bikes after long days in the saddle made the need for a roomier, more comfortable platform clear. The result is a classic MKS platform pedal with more support for your foot—especially appreciated on touring bikes, commuter bikes, and bikes used for many hours at a time.
The platform measures 94 x 85 mm and provides ample support regardless of shoe size. The grip is noticeable without being aggressive, making the Gordito comfortable with regular shoes and well suited to touring, city riding, and everyday cycling.
Like other MKS Sylvan pedals, the Gordito uses serviceable cup-and-cone bearings and replaceable side plates. A well-built Japanese bicycle pedal for those who want a classic look, a large platform, and components that can be maintained rather than thrown away.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
