For over four decades, MKS Sylvan has been the obvious choice for cyclists worldwide. The Touring model is double-sided, making it incredibly easy to step onto while riding. It works perfectly with virtually all types of everyday shoes and cycling shoes, thanks to a cage profile whose teeth provide a secure and reliable grip without being so aggressive that they wear out your shoe soles. For those who want maximum control, the pedal is also fully prepared for cages and straps (toe clips & straps).

What makes the Sylvan Touring such a faithful companion is its uncompromising, proven construction. The heart of the pedal is the hand-adjusted cup and cone bearing system (cup and cone) mounted on a cold-forged axle made of Japanese steel. This not only provides an incredibly smooth ride but also means you can service, grease, and adjust your pedals yourself at home in the workshop – a feature that allows these pedals to last for decades.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
