Nitto B840AA is a wide 720 mm handlebar for those who want the control of a modern riser bar, but with a lower, straighter profile. With 21 mm rise and 8° backsweep, it is particularly well suited to fixed gear, single speed, city bikes, and custom builds where you want a wide bar without raising your hands too high.
The relatively low rise keeps the bike’s front end clean and direct, while the backsweep angles the grips slightly backward and provides a more natural hand position than a completely straight flatbar. Weighing approximately 298 grams, the B840AA is also noticeably lighter than many more substantial riser bars.
The bar is made in Japan from heat-treated aluminum and features a modern 31.8 mm clamp diameter with a standard 22.2 mm diameter for grips, brake levers, and controls. A great choice if you are looking for a wide black Nitto handlebar with low rise, low weight, and proven Japanese quality.
