The Pelago Commuter Front Rack Aluminium Large is the lighter version of Pelago’s classic front rack - the same practical porteur format, but made from aluminium and significantly lighter than the steel version. The large platform has plenty of room for grocery bags, luggage, camping gear, or even a pizza, and can carry up to 10 kg.
The rack fits most bikes with 26–28" wheels and mounts to the fork crown, with stays attached to rack/fender mounts or a suitable hub mount. It also has attachment points for panniers, and a headlight mount is included. Weighing 820 grams, it’s a great choice for touring, commuting, and bikepacking when you want a generous load surface without the weight of a traditional steel rack.
The polished aluminium finish looks especially good on classic touring bikes, silver builds, and custom bikes where a black rack feels out of place. A practical front rack with a large load surface, low weight, and Pelago’s clean design.
