*In 2004-2005, Aalborg University and Odense conducted a large study designed to investigate how installing daytime running lights on bicycles would affect cyclist traffic safety and confidence. Half of the cyclists rode with SL100, and the other half used the lights and lamps they normally used. The experiment showed that daytime running lights for bicycles can reduce the number of accidents by 32% and increase cyclist safety by 85%.
