René Herse has reinvented the semi-slick tire. It took three years of research and development and resulted in three new patents. The semi-slick tire Corkscrew Climb is named after the biggest climb in the SBT GRVL race in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Instead of distinct zones with different patterns, the slick pattern seamlessly transitions into the side knobs, providing better and more predictable grip when the bike leans into the bends. The first row of side knobs is anchored in the center pattern to stiffen the knobs and give superior grip under extreme force – important when sprinting or climbing out of the saddle and rocking the bike from side to side. The knobs are placed with our own developed noise-damping technique, making the tire almost eerily quiet for a gravel tire.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
