SOLD! Rune Rufus Stone in size Medium, custom-built by us at UBW. We spared no expense when this beauty was created last spring. It has been on display over the summer, but now we offer to ship the bike wherever you are in the world. For us, it doesn’t get any better or more beautiful than this.
Full specifications can be found below in the description, but let us highlight the key points. The wheels are hand-built in our workshop to achieve the desired quality and the perfect silver finish. The bike doesn’t use a full groupset; instead, the Shimano SLX rear derailleur is adjusted using the Dia-Compe UNO friction shifter—cool! This means you should be able to fit almost any rear derailleur and cassette, and the shifter can handle it. The gearing of 36 x 11-46T is fast enough for the bike’s purpose, but above all, it helps you climb steep hills on rocky roads. When riding downhill, you stop the bike with the finest mechanical brake calipers on the market, Growtac Equal, made in Japan. The Rune Hilt Bar at 48 cm (595 mm c-c on the drop) offers fantastic stability and comfort. With a quill stem and 26mm diameter, the cockpit flexes slightly, and with 2.35" tires, you glide smoothly over crushed stone.
The price includes all components but no labor is added.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
