Runwell BBLT6 Bottom Bracket Tool
Available in stock (4)
The Runwell BBLT6 is a Japanese-made bottom bracket tool with six hooks designed for traditional NJS bottom brackets. It is developed for lockrings from Shimano, Sugino, and Hatta, as well as compatible Campagnolo lockrings – a type of tool that is now hard to find from other manufacturers.
Thin aluminum lockrings are easily damaged if a regular hook wrench slips or is misaligned. The BBLT6 overlaps about one-third of the lockring, while the silver-colored support plate keeps the tool and bearing cup parallel. This provides a more stable grip, smoother torque transfer, and less risk of damaging the lockring’s hooks.
Runwell develops specialized bike tools with a strong connection to Japanese Keirin and track cycling, and the BBLT6 was created at the request of Keirin cyclists. The 330 mm long steel handle offers good leverage when installing, removing, and adjusting bottom bracket lockrings. This is not a universal tool for modern bottom brackets but the right choice for mechanics and cyclists working with traditional NJS bottom brackets on fixed gear and track bikes.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
