Runwell CHECKER is a specialist tool for the 6 mm-wide square nut in the chain lock on products such as IZUMI V Super Toughness. It provides a direct grip on the thin nut when the chain lock needs to be loosened, tightened, or checked before the next ride.
The tool was developed together with a technical inspector in Japanese Keirin. The knurled handle provides grip, while the long shaft makes it easier to access the nut behind the chainring.
