This is what we call a standard saddle for road riding or faster gravel, for a bike where you sit more or less leaned forward. Flat profile, a width that seems to work for many people, and a cutout to maximize blood flow. San Marco/Selle Italia is probably the largest bicycle saddle manufacturer, so they know what they’re doing. Used on Cinelli bikes, of course, among others.
