Velo Orange Crazy Bars are the handlebars for you if you don’t want to choose between flat bars, bullhorns, and touring cockpits. They are wide, swept back, a bit unusual at first glance – and very logical once you understand what they’re designed for.
On gravel roads, touring bikes, bikepacking builds, and unique commuters, Crazy Bars offer something that ordinary straight bars often lack: multiple natural hand positions. The wide main section provides control and leverage when the terrain gets rough, while the front horns let you stretch out your position on longer rides, into headwinds, or whenever you just want a change of feel for a while.
They’re also handlebars that invite personal customization. The main section is made for MTB shifters and regular grips, while the horns can be used with road components like bar-end shifters or inverse brake levers. The result is a cockpit with unusually much freedom – practical, comfortable, and a little quirky in all the right ways.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
