Pelago Commuter Front Rack Aluminium Large is the lighter version of Pelago’s classic front rack—the same useful porteur format, but made from aluminium and significantly lighter than the steel version. The large platform provides plenty of space for grocery bags, luggage, camping equipment, or even a pizza, and can carry up to 10 kg.
The rack fits most bikes with 26–28" wheels and mounts to the fork crown together with stays to rack/fender mounts or a suitable hub attachment. There are also mounting points for panniers, and a front light mount is included. Weighing 820 grams, it is a great option for touring, commuting, and bikepacking when you want a substantial load platform without the weight of a traditional steel rack.
The polished aluminium finish is particularly well suited to classic touring bikes, silver builds, and custom bikes where a black rack would feel out of place. A practical front rack with a large load platform, low weight, and Pelago’s clean design language.
