Genesis Vagabond
Genesis Vagabond
Hurry, only 2 products left in stock.
Vagabond is a monster cross bike in the broadest sense of the word; the illegitimate lovechild of a road and mountain bike, a "frankenbike" that has long been a staple for home mechanics, the result of many experimental "I wonder if..." spare parts box builds. The late Steve Worland summed them up well as "...the perfect crossdresser for long, steady rides that include a bit of everything." Touring, commuting, rugged country road bike – Vagabond tackles most disciplines with as little as a simple tire change. Genesis has upgraded the frame to use Reynolds 725 steel, which further improves the frame's qualities, while the dropouts now use standard 12 mm through axles. In line with its off-road traits, a 1X Sram Apex drivetrain with a 36-tooth front chainring keeps things moving forward on all terrain, with 29er wheels and mountain bike-style tires that roll over the worst of the roughest.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
