Unior 1609/2BI is a bottom bracket tool for installing and removing external bearing cups with a standard fitting and 16 notches, including traditional Shimano Hollowtech II bottom brackets. The 350 mm handle provides good leverage, and the two-component grip sits comfortably in the hand.
A small tool for Hollowtech II crankset preload caps is included, and the wrench also fits Center Lock lockrings with the corresponding external fitting. After winter, it may be worth removing the bottom bracket, cleaning the bottom bracket shell, and regreasing the threads. Unior is a Slovenian manufacturer of seriously good bicycle tools.
